Dr Robers is a USA-trained Clinical Psychologist and Marriage & Family Therapist with more than 30 years of professional experience. He works from a neuroscience perspective in psychotherapy and is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including: CBT, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, Marriage and Family, Biofeedback, Child and Adolescent Therapy, Brainspotting, EMDR, Integrative Therapy, TRE, Flash Technique, and several neurosensory techniques.
He has taught and supervised at master’s and doctoral level at several tertiary institutions. He provides clinical supervision for clinical psychologists and psychotherapists. He is an EMDR certified therapist and approved consultant with EMDRIA. He specializes in the treatment of trauma, helping individuals, couples and families work on concerns they present.
He provides consultations and psychological assessments to organisations and institutions. He is engaged in coaching executives using neuroscience approaches to resilience, resource and potential formation. He is full member of the American Psychological association since 1992.
